NABC Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – West Texas A&M moved up one spot to No. 2 in the first regular season National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Poll. The Buffs previously ranked No. 3 in the preseason iteration of the poll.

Nova Southeastern took over the top spot in the rankings with all 16 first-place votes and 400 points. WT checked in at No. 2 with 379 points while MSU Moorhead (369), California (Pa.) (334), and Washburn (328) finish out the top five. Minnesota Duluth (290), West Liberty (274), DBU (267), Lincoln Memorial (264), and Cal State San Bernardino (231) make up the remainder of the top 10.

The South Central Region is represented by five teams in the poll with WT leading the way. DBU (8
th), Colorado School of Mines (14
th), and MSU Denver (19
th) also earned spots in the poll while St. Edward's and CSU Pueblo received votes.

WT returns home for a South Central Region matchup with Adams State on Thursday, Nov. 21. The Buffs and Grizzlies are scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. inside the First United Bank Center.
