CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M have been selected as the top seed and host site for the 2021-22 NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships on March 11-14 at the First United Bank Center in Canyon, Texas.
WT is making their 27
th appearance in the NCAA Division II Postseason after winning the Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Buffs jumped four spots to first after defeating Texas A&M International, #14 Lubbock Christian and #10 Texas A&M-Commerce in the Lone Star Conference Championships at the Comerica Center in Frisco.

Josh Prock and the Lady Buffs are 23-10 overall including 14-3 inside of the First United Bank Center this season, the program has claimed 18
th Lone Star Conference regular season titles and 16 tournament crowns.
The Lady Buffs claimed the top seed followed by Texas A&M-Commerce, Lubbock Christian, Texas Woman's, MSU Denver, Colorado State-Pueblo, Colorado School of Mines and Colorado Mesa. WT will take on the eighth-seeded Mavericks on Friday, March 11
th at a time to be determined.
