RICHARDSON, Texas – West Texas A&M women's soccer player Maria-Frances Serrant earned Lone Star Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors as announced by the league office on Monday. Serrant earns the award for the first time at WT and becomes the second Lady Buff to earn the award this season.
 
The sophomore forward led the offensive charge in WT's 4-1 win over Eastern New Mexico. After Emily Avila scored in the game's first five minutes, Serrant followed with her first goal of the game in the 19^th minute. Before the half ended, the Lady Buff attacker added another goal. Serrant capped off her second hat trick of the season 19 seconds into the second half after scoring off a pass from Avila.
 
Serrant and the Lady Buffs host Senior Day at The Pitch tomorrow night against Oklahoma Christian. First kick is slated for 7 p.m.
