Karley Motschenbacher kept the Lady Buffs unbeaten in Lone Star Conference action with a 61-44 victory over the UT Permian Basin Falcons at the First United Bank Center.

The Moorhead, Minnesota product went 7-of-12 from the floor including 4-of-8 from behind the arc for a team-high 18 points to go along with 10 rebounds, four assists and a block for her fourth double-double of the season.
Lauren Taylor went 4-of-10 from the field to finish with 10 points and seven rebounds followed by
McKauley Gregory with nine points to go along with three assists and two steals.

The Lady Buffs finished the afternoon going 24-of-64 (37.5%) from the field including 10-of-35 (28.6%) from deep and 3-of-6 (50%) from the charity stripe with 47 rebounds (22 offensive, 25 defensive), 20 assists, 16 turnovers, three blocks and four steals.

Avalon Munoz led the way for the Falcons as the freshman from San Antonio went 3-of-11 from the floor including a perfect 2-of-2 from the free throw line with one assist and two steals. UTPB finished the game going 16-of-47 (34%) from the floor including 5-of-18 (27.8%) from behind the arc and 7-of-12 (58.3%) from the free throw line with 24 rebounds, nine assists, 15 turnovers, two blocks and seven steals.

The Lady Buffs begin a four-game road trip next Thursday night as they head to Wichita Falls, Texas to take on the Midwestern State Mustangs in Lone Star Conference action with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
