WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Lady Buffs could never find a rhythm offensively on Thursday night as they struggled from the floor all night long, snapping a five-game win streak in a 61-49 Lone Star Conference loss to the Midwestern State Mustangs at D.L. Ligon Coliseum in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Taylor Williams led the way for the Lady Buffs as the Memphis, Tennessee product went 6-of-11 from the floor including 4-of-8 from behind the arc for a team-high 16 points to go along with one assist and five steals.
Karley Motschenbacher registered double-digits for the second straight game as the freshman finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and a steal.

The Lady Buffs finished the night going 15-of-75 (20%) from the field including 6-of-23 (26.1%) from behind the arc and 13-of-20 (65%) from the free throw line with 51 rebounds (22 offensive, 29 defensive), seven assists, 14 turnovers, one block and 15 steals.

Frances King paced the MSU offense as the sophomore from Rockdale went 7-of-11 from the floor including 6-of-7 from the free throw line for a game-high 21 points to go along with seven rebounds, four assists, two steals and a block. The Mustangs finished the night going 21-of-51 (41.2%) from the field including 2-of-7 (28.6%) from deep and 15-of-22 (68.2%) from the charity stripe with 46 rebounds, 11 assists, 22 turnovers, nine blocks and nine steals.
