CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Buffaloes sit 10
th on the team leaderboard following the first two rounds of the Missouri Southern State Fall Invitational at Shangri-La Country Club (Par-72, 6,876 Yards) in Monkey Island, Oklahoma.
Pablo Rebolleda shot a +3 (75) in the opening round before firing in the red with a two-under 70 to conclude the opening day tied for 14
th. The Leon, Spain native registered six birdies on the day including four in the second round. WT finished opening day with 28 feathers including 16 in the opening round highlighted by five from
Josh Roche.
Hutchinson CC dominated the field on day one as they shot a 281 (-7) and 287 (-1) for a total of 568 (-8) to lead Southern Arkansas, Oklahoma Christian and Rogers State (583, +7) by 15 strokes heading into Tuesday's final round. Harry Crockett of Hutchinson CC leads all individuals with a 141 (-3) to hold a one stroke lead over five players tied for second.
Tuesday's final round will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT as the Buffs will be paired with Southwestern Oklahoma State, St. Mary's and Missouri Southern State.
