Unger and Rebolleda Lead the Way in Tuesday’s Final Round

CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M's Daniel Unger and Pablo Rebolleda played consistent rounds on Tuesday as they combined for six birdies to each shoot -1 (71) and finish tied for 19th at The Writz at Mile High at Bear Creek Golf Club (Par 72 – 6,966 Yards) in Lakewood, Colorado. 
 
The Buffs finished the event with a 907 (+43) to finish ninth as WT improved their final round score (293) by 10 strokes over yesterday's 303 in the second round and 18 strokes over Monday's opening round (311). WT registered 14 total birdies during Tuesday's round to go along with an eagle by Eemeli Jarvinen on the 551 yard par-five 12th hole.
 
Tournament co-host Colorado Christian shot a three-over 291 on Tuesday to claim the team title with an 867 (+3) followed by Midwestern State (+5, 869) and co-host Colorado School of Mines (+11, 875). The event saw a three-way tie for the individual crown between CCU's Adam Duncan, CSU-Pueblo's Jamie Roberts and Midwestern State's Jake Doggett. A two-hole playoff decided the medalist as Doggett birdied the 18th hole twice for the win.
 
The Buffs return to action on September 27-28 as they head to Monkey Island, Oklahoma to take part in the Missouri Southern State Fall Invitational at Shangri-La Golf Club.
