CANYON, Texas – The #22 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M had four players in double-figures on Saturday afternoon as they led by nine points after the first quarter and never looked back in a 93-57 Lone Star Conference win over the UT Permian Basin Falcons at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

- The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Tyesha Taylor who went a perfect 9-of-9 from the floor and 1-of-3 from the free throw line for 19 points followed by
Lexy Hightower with 18,
Braylyn Dollar grabbed a team-high six boards while
Megan Gamble led all players with eight assists in the win.
- Nyachristmas Puok led the way for the Falcons as she went 7-of-11 from the floor for 15 points, Juliette Akinwole grabbed six rebounds on the afternoon while Puok dished out four assists to go along with a block.

- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 17-of-25 (68%) from the floor including 8-of-14 (57.1%) from behind the arc and 4-of-7 (57.1%) from the free throw line with eight rebounds (two offensive, six defensive), 13 assists, four turnovers, no blocks and three steals.
- UT Permian Basin went 11-of-22 (50%) from the field in the opening half including 1-of-3 (33.3%) from deep and 1-of-2 (50%) from the charity stripe with 12 rebounds (five offensive, seven defensive), seven assists, 11 turnovers, one block and one steal.
SECOND HALF
- WT finished the game going 36-of-53 (67.9%) from the floor including 10-of-22 (45.5%) from behind the arc and 11-of-17 (64.7%) from the charity stripe with 20 rebounds (four offensive, 16 defensive), 27 assists, 11 turnovers, two blocks and 11 steals.
