CANYON, Texas – The #20 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M pulled away in the fourth quarter as they snapped #17 Angelo State's eight game win streak while reaching the 20-win plateau for the seventh straight season on Thursday night in Lone Star Conference action at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led offensively by
Lexy Hightower who went 12-of-17 from the floor including 2-of-2 from deep for 26 points followed by
Tyesha Taylor with 14 and
Deleyah Harris with 12, Harris grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds for the double-double while
Megan Gamble dished out five assists.
- Marquita Daniels led the way for the Belles as the senior guard went 8-of-19 from the floor and 2-of-7 from behind the arc with 20 points, Miklayla Blount registered 10 points for ASU while Dezirae Hampton and Maria Delgado had four rebounds each.

FIRST HALF
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 18-of-32 (56.3%) from the floor including 3-of-3 from behind the arc and 5-of-5 from the free throw line with 19 rebounds (four offensive, 15 defensive), 10 assists, 10 turnovers, two steals and no blocks.
- Angelo State went 16-of-35 (45.7%) from the field in the opening half including 3-of-9 (33.3%) from deep and 5-of-6 (83.3%) from the charity stripe with 13 rebounds (three offensive, 10 defensive), three assists, seven turnovers, five steals and one block.
SECOND HALF
- WT finished the game going 35-of-58 (60.3%) from the floor including 3-of-4 (75%) from deep and a perfect 11-of-11 from the charity stripe with 36 rebounds (eight offensive, 28 defensive), 18 assists, 24 turnovers, six steals and four blocks in the win.
- The Belles went 28-of-64 (43.8%) from the field including 5-of-17 (29.4%) from deep and 10-of-17 (58.8%) from the free throw line with 20 rebounds (seven offensive, 13 defensive), eight assists, 16 turnovers, 10 steals and three blocks on the night.
