SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M complete St. Mary's Rattler Invite, finishing 16
th with a three round score of 919 (+55). WT shot a 300 (+12) in both the first and third round, with a 319 (+31) in the second to complete their first spring tournament.
St. Mary's led the tournament from round one, finishing with a three round score of 868 (+4). The Rattlers had three individuals place in the top ten, including Emilio Gonzales who placed first with score of 210 (-6). Oklahoma Christian trailed in second with an 884 (+20), followed closely by Southeastern Oklahoma in third with a score of 887 (+23).
Colton McMains was the top player for the Buffs shooting even in the first round, followed by an 80 (+8) in the second and 77 (+5) in the third. McCains tied for 46
th, with a three round score of 229 (+13).
Collin Bumpass tied for 50
th with a 230 (+14), followed by
Michael Hodson tied at 61
st and
Eemeli Jarvinen tied at 64
th.
The Buffs look forward to the Arbor Hotel's Classic at the Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas hosted by Lubbock Christian.
