WICHITA FALLS, Texas – West Texas A&M sits seventh following day one of the MSU Texas Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas.
 
WT shot a 311 the first round, with a 314 the second round giving them a total score of 625 (+57). MSU Texas leads the tournament at 576 (+8), followed by Arkansas-Fort Smith at second with a score of 602 (+34) and Commerce in third at 604 (+36).
 
Eemeli Jarvinen and Brayden Cruth lead the Buffs tied at 17th with a two round score of 154 (+12). Jarvinen shot the best round of the day for WT, with a 3-over in the first round. Michael Hodson follows close behind tied at 30th, shooting a 157 (+15). Diego Garcia is tied at 42nd, while Mitchell Downing sits tied at 58th.
