WGCA All-American Scholar Honorees

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – West Texas A&M women's golf earned six Women's Golf American Coaches Association All-America Scholar awards. The WGCA recognized 1,0499 women's golfers representing 403 programs from around the country. This becomes the second consecutive season the Lady Buffs have placed six honorees on the All-America Scholar list.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics and continue to demonstrate the high-level academic achievements of our players. To be selected, a student-athlete must:
- Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
- Be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season.
- Have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

The six Lady Buffs who earned All-America Scholar honors included
Kara Holm,
Anna Nomrowski,
Antonella Periotti Omisolo,
Sarah Reed,
Gam Songprasert, and
Charlee Thacker.

The Lady Buffs finished the stroke play portion of the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships in sixth place, advancing to Medal Match Play where WT fell to Flagler, 3-2, in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
