Songprasert Named the Texas Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame Golfer of the Year

CANYON, Texas –
 West Texas A&M senior Gam Songprasert added another honor to her already impressive resume last week as she was named the 2025 Texas Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame Golfer of the Year.
 
The three-time WGCA All-American concluded her stellar collegiate career last month as the Lady Buffs advanced to medal match play at the NCAA Division II Championships in Boulder City, Nevada. The Chiang Mai, Thailand native recorded a win at the WT West Region Preview with six additional top five finishes during her senior campaign.
 
Songprasert was ranked 14th nationally and fourth in the West region as she carried an adjusted scoring average of 72.2 over 35 rounds for the Lady Buffs. 
 
Each year the Texas Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame recognized the top athletes and coaches from the area while also announcing members into the Hall of Fame, this year's inductees were Austin Johnson, Scott Tankersley and Natalie Ritchie-Roberts.
