CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – On Wednesday, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced the organizations' WGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award. The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf program with the highest collective average team GPA which includes all the team's student-athletes for the 2024-25 season.
 
The Lady Buffs finished second in the standings with a team GPA of 3.913 for the 2024-25 academic year. Central Missouri topped the team GPA standings with a GPA of 3.945. WT leads the way for the Lone Star Conference with Angelo State ranking 10^th in the release. 
 
The Lady Buffs finished the stroke play portion of the 2025 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championships in sixth place, advancing to Medal Match Play where WT fell to Flagler, 3-2, in the NCAA Quarterfinals.
