CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M women's golf finishes up its regular-season schedule on Friday and Saturday with the RJGA Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.

On Tuesday, the West Texas A&M women's golf team finished in a tie for second place at the WT Desert Invite. St. Mary's won the event by nine strokes over the Lady Buffs and Cal State San Marcos, finishing with a score of 53-over (639) while Sonoma State's Avery Foster took home the individual title with a score of eight-over (152).
Gam Songprasert posted a top five finish at the event with a final score of nine-over (153) as the senior tied for second.
Sarah Reed also finished in the top 10 with her final score of 11-over (155), tying for sixth place.
Kara Holm tied for 37
th at 21-over (165) with
Charlee Thacker tying for 42
nd at 22-over (166) and
Anna Nomrowski tying for 53
rd at 25-over (169).
