CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M women's golf appeared in a pair of rankings on Friday afternoon. The Lady Buffs ranked 13
th in Women's Golf Coaches Association Top-25 Coaches Poll along with a No. 4 ranking in the NCAA's West Region rankings.

WGCA POLL
Anderson earned 12 first-place votes and 396 points to top the poll followed by Flagler with 376 points and one first-place vote. Wingate earned the No. 3 ranking with three first-place votes and 375 points while Dallas Baptist (349) and Findlay (339) finish out the top five. Lynn (311), Cal State San Marcos (302), Nova Southeastern (271), St. Mary's (250), and Grand Valley State (245) make up the remainder of the top 10. WT earned 205 points in the poll to rank 13
th.

NCAA RANKINGS
West Texas A&M ranked fourth in this week's NCAA Regional poll. Of the 20 teams included in the rankings, nine teams come from the Lone Star Conference. Dallas Baptist topped the regional rankings with Cal State San Marcos, St. Mary's, WT, and UT Tyler following. Cal State LA, Midwestern State, Simon Fraser, Biola, and Cal State East Bay occupy the sixth through 10
th spots, respectively. CSU Pueblo, Sonoma State, Lubbock Christian, Texas A&M-International, Angelo State, Colorado Christian, Academy of Art, Western Washington, Cameron, and Hawaii Pacific hold the 11
th through 20
th spots. Â

The top 18 teams will make the NCAA West Regional Tournament hosted by WT at the La Paloma Golf Course in Amarillo, Texas on May 5-8. The top five teams at the tournament advance to the NCAA National Championships on May 13-17 at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder Creek, Nev. Â
