ALLENDALE, Mich. – In their opening tournament of the season, the West Texas A&M women's golf team sits in fourth place at the Folds of Honor Challenge at the Meadows Golf Club in Allendale, Mich. Grand Valley State leads the tournament at 19-over par (303) with the Lady Buffs at 32-over (316).
Gam Songprasert leads the Lady Buffs, finishing the first day in third place at three-over (74).
Sarah Reed tied for 14
th on the first day at eight-over (79) while
Charlee Thacker tied for 20
th at 10-over (81).
Antonella Periotti Omisolo and
Kara Holm each tied for 25
th on the first day of action, finishing with scores of 11-over (82).
The Lady Buffs return to the course tomorrow with the second round starting at 8:30 a.m.
