CANYON. Texas – West Texas A&M cross country heads into the Regional Championships ranked third and sixth in the newest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II rankings announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The Buffs remain third following their 12
th consecutive Lone Star Conference Championship on Saturday morning in Kingsville while the Lady Buffs jumped three spots to sixth, claiming their fourth overall and second straight LSC title.

On the men's side, Wingate remained atop of the poll followed by Colorado School of Mines, WT, Grand Valley State, Adams State, Chico State, Western Colorado, Lee, Western Washington and East Central to round out the top ten.

Adams State sits atop of the women's rankings followed by Grand Valley State, CSU-Pueblo, Lewis, WT, Wingate, Augustana, UC-Colorado Springs and Lee.

The NCAA Division II South Central Regional Championships take place on November 9
th in Denver, Colorado.
