CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M's Adam Becker continued to add to his already impressive resume on Thursday morning as the senior was named a First Team All-American by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA).
 
He becomes the fourth player in WT history to be named a First Team selection (Kendall Boone, Jess Cooper, Paul Lujan, Joe Corbett) and just the third position player. 
 
Becker, the two-time LSC Player of the Year, became one of the best hitters in Division II baseball over the last two seasons in Maroon & White as the Midland product hit .420 this season with 22 doubles, two triples and 15 homeruns to drive in 74 RBI with 160 total bases for a slugging percentage of .755. Becker becomes just the fourth student-athlete in LSC history to be named the league's Player of the Year multiple times.
