AZUSA, Calif. – West Texas A&M's
Eleonora Curtabbi continues to add her name to the record books as she broke the 1,500-meter school record on Friday night on the final day of the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Azusa Pacific.
Curtabbi broke the seven-year-old 1,500-meter record set by former Lady Buff Mireia Guarner by 2.14-seconds. The Turin, Italy product crossed the line with the fifth-fastest time in Division II this season at 4:24.78 for a runner-up finish as the highest collegiate placer.
Grace Dwyer ran 4:35.08 to finish 52
nd in the event.
On the men's side,
Harry Louradour and
Innocent Murwanashyaka earned a provisional marks in the 5,000-meter run. Louradour won his section with a season-best 14:20.87 while Murwanashyaka finished 14
th in his section at 14:21.33.

WT will split competition next week with meets in Oregon and New Mexico on April 21-23. WT is scheduled to compete at the Oregon Relays in Eugene, Ore., at the Hayward Field and the Ross Black Open in Hobbs, N.M.
