Eleonora Curtabbi and
Innocent Murwanashyaka surpassed their school records in the steeplechase on Wednesday night at the Bryan Clay Invite in Azusa, Calif.
Curtabbi ran 10:09.85 in section 5 of the 3,000-meter steeplechase to finish fourth in a field of 63. The Turin, Italy product's time marks the 16
th-fastest in NCAA Division II history as she now has the top two performances in the nation this season.
Grace Dwyer added another Top 20 finish for WT when she crossed the line with a personal-best 10:43.16 to place 19
th.
Murwanashyaka followed with his own record-breaking performance as the St. Paul, Minn. ran the sixth-fastest time in DII this season, improving his provisional mark. He ran 8:56.09 to finish 15
th overall in a field of 61.
WT will be back in action tomorrow with the Lady Buffs running in the 1,500-meter and the Buffs in the 5,000-meter run.
