Zamorye Roberts reached the 1,000 career point plateau as the Lady Buffs led by 19 at the half and never looked back on their way to a 86-60 Lone Star Conference victory over the Texas A&M-Kingsville Javelinas on Thursday night at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

The Lady Buffs look to clinch the program's 18
th regular season conference championship on Saturday afternoon as they hold a half-game lead in the conference standings over Texas Woman's and Texas A&M-Commerce heading into the regular-season finale.

Roberts led the way for the Lady Buffs as the junior went 8-of-14 from the floor including 2-of-3 from deep and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe with a game-high 20 points to go along with two rebounds, two assists and four steals.
Alivia Lewis finished the game with her seventh double-double of the season, going 6-of-12 from the field with 16 points while grabbing 10 boards to go along with two blocks.

The Lady Buffs finished the night going 30-of-67 (44.8%) from the floor including 7-of-13 (53.8%) from behind the arc and 19-of-21 (90.5%) from the free throw line to go along with 44 total rebounds (11 offensive, 33 defensive), 15 assists, 12 turnovers, three blocks and eight steals.

Kryslyn Jones paced the Javelina offense as the sophomore from Edmond went 8-of-14 from the floor and 1-of-5 from deep for a team-high 19 points to go along with three rebounds and a steal. TAMUK finished the game going 20-of-51 (39.2%) from the field including 3-of-15 (20%) from behind the arc and 17-of-29 (58.6%) from the free throw line with 28 rebounds, 10 assists, 16 turnovers, five blocks and seven steals.

The Lady Buffs close out the regular season on Saturday afternoon as they welcome the Texas A&M International Dustdevils to the First United Bank Center with tipoff set for 2 p.m. on Senior Day in Canyon.
