CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M finished the afternoon with four players in double-figures as the Lady Buffs ended the Pak-A-Sak Thanksgiving Classic unbeaten with a 62-51 win over the Western Colorado Mountaineers at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

Zamorye Roberts led the way for the Lady Buffs as the junior went 6-of-17 from the floor including 2-of-7 from deep for a game-high 15 points to go along with four steals.
Alivia Lewis finished with 12 points, five boards and two blocks while
Haylei Janssens went 5-of-7 from the field with 12 points to go along with seven rebounds.

The Lady Buffs finished the game going 21-of-63 (33.3%) from the field including 3-of-13 (23.1%) from deep and 17-of-25 (68%) from the free throw line with 42 rebounds (17 offensive, 25 defensive), five assists, 13 turnovers, four blocks and 11 steals in the win.

Grace Kirscher and Natalie Jojola finished the afternoon with nine points each as the Mountaineers went 19-of-55 (34.5%) from the field including 4-of-15 (26.7%) from deep and a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe with 39 rebounds (11 offensive, 28 defensive), eight assists, 22 turnovers, four blocks and six steals.

The Lady Buffs took a 33-30 lead into the locker room as they went 13-of-36 (36.1%) from the floor in the first half including 2-of-10 (20%) from deep and 5-of-8 (62.5%) from the free throw line with 16 rebounds, three assists, five turnovers, one block and five steals. WCU went 12-of-24 (50%) from the floor including 2-of-6 (33.3%) from behind the arc and a perfect 4-of-4 from the stripe with 21 rebounds, five assists, 12 turnovers, two blocks and two steals.
