CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs forced 28 turnovers and long scoring droughts all afternoon long by the Fort Lewis Skyhawks on Friday as West Texas A&M snapped a three-game losing skid with a 93-46 rout during the Pak-A-Sak Thanksgiving Classic at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.

Taylor Williams led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs as the senior went 7-of-11 from the floor including 3-of-5 from behind the arc for a team-high 17 points to go along with two boards, one assist and two steals.
Zamorye Roberts returned to the court with 14 points and three assists while
Alivia Lewis chipped in 11 points to go along with seven rebounds and a block.

The Lady Buffs finished the game going 36-of-78 (46.2%) from the field including 11-of-31 (35.5%) from deep and 10-of-14 (71.4%) from the free throw line with 45 rebounds (14 offensive, 31 defensive), 22 assists, eight turnovers, seven blocks and 13 steals.

Alyssa Adams led the way for the Skyhawks as she went 5-of-14 from the field including 3-of-6 from deep and 6-of-10 from the charity stripe for a game-high 19 points to go along with two rebounds. Fort Lewis finished the afternoon going 14-of-51 (27.5%) from the floor including 5-of-13 (38.5%) from behind the arc and 13-of-23 (56.5%) from the stripe with 42 rebounds, three assists, 28 turnovers, two blocks and two steals.

The Lady Buffs took a 50-26 lead into the locker room as they went 21-of-39 (53.8%) from the field including 7-of-14 (50%) from deep and 1-of-3 (33.3%) from the stripe with 20 rebounds, 13 assists, three blocks and four steals. Fort Lewis turned the ball over 13 times in the first half as they went 8-of-26 (30.8%) from the floor including 3-of-8 (37.5%) from behind the arc and 7-of-13 (53.8%) from the free throw line with 22 rebounds, two assists and a block.
