SERIES HISTORY
The Buffs are undefeated against the Eagles as they lead the all-time series 12-0 since its start in WT's inaugural season in 1991. In their last meeting, WT defeated Oklahoma Christian in 2-1 overtime win with the help of

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Oklahoma Christian enters week 10 play with a 0-6-1 record in conference play and 1-10-3 mark overall. Under first year head coach Mitchell Sowerby, the Eagles recorded their lone victory coming from a 5-0 shutout over Newman in the preseason.
The Eagles average 1.14 goals per match on 13.3 shots with a .382 shot-on-goal percentage. John Osadolor Ighede has five scores on the season to lead OC with 10 total points while goalkeeper Anthony Trabichet has a .698 save-percentage which ranks the sixth best in conference.
BUTCH LAUFFER
Butch Lauffer is in his 31st season as head men's soccer coach at West Texas A&M University. The Buffs match against UT Permian Basin marked Lauffer's 550
th-career victory at WT. As the longest tenured head coach in WT history, Lauffer has coached the men to 29 consecutive non-losing seasons and the women to 12-plus victories in 12 seasons. Lauffer has recorded a 361-160-39 (.678) record at the helm of the Buffs with a 550-227-56 (.693) overall record at WT.
LAST TIME OUT
The Buffs put up six goals for the first time since 2018 when they defeated UT Permian Basin last week, 6-3.
Rotem Weiss led the Buffs offense with seven points as the freshman was responsible for two goals, including the game-winner against the Falcons, while earning the assist on three different scores.
CONFERENCE STANDINGS
WT standings third in the conference rankings behind Midwestern State (6-0 LSC) and Lubbock Christain (4-1-1 LSC) each with the Mustangs posting a conference high 18 points. St. Mary's sits in fourth with 12 points with a 4-2 mark in conference play followed by Texas A&M International (3-4), UT Tyler (2-4), DBU (2-4), UT Permian Basin (2-4) and Oklahoma Christian (0-6-1)

The Buffs have outscored opponents 37-26, averaging 2.64 goals per match on 16.5 shots which ranks first in the conference including a .450 shot-on-goal percentage. Saldana has scored a team-high nine goals followed by

USC DIVISION II TOP-25
West Texas A&M men's soccer moved to 22
nd in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II Top-25 Poll. Young Harris moved atop the national rankings with a 15-0-1 overall record as the last undefeated school in the standings. Palm Beach Atlantic stands second at 12-1-0 followed by Davis & Elkins, Franklin Pierce and Charleston to close out the top five.
LONE STAR CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
The top six teams will advance to the LSC Tournament based on a points system. The tournament will begin with quarterfinal matches on Tuesday, November 9 followed by the semifinal and championship matches at the No. 1 seed on Friday, November 12 and Sunday, November 14.
COMING UP
Following Wednesday's match, WT will host the season finale with a Top-25 showdown against No. 6 Midwestern State on Saturday, Nov. 6. The Buffs also will honor seven seniors in Saturday's match against the Mustangs.
