LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Innocent Murwanashyaka was the top finisher for No. 22 West Texas A&M on Saturday morning in the gold race at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic at E.P. "Tom" Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky.
The junior from St. Paul, Minn. has now been the top finisher for the Buffs in five consecutive races after covering the 8-kilometer course in 23:53.8 to finish 18
th overall and fourth among NCAA Division II runners.
Harry Louradour finished 148
th with a new personal best time of 25:20.3 while true freshman
Gustavo Posada was 162
ndin 25:28.4.
Calvin Allen was the fourth and final Buff to finish as the sophomore was 178
th (25:34.4) as the Buffs did not record a team score.
The Buffs return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Blue & Gold Classic hosted by Angelo State.
