CANYON, Texas – The Buffaloes of West Texas A&M placed three runners inside of the Top-30 on Saturday afternoon as they finished fifth at the NCAA Men's Cross Country South Central Regional Championships at Walking Stick Golf Course in Pueblo, Colorado.

Adrian Legarreta led the way for the Buffs as the senior from Friona ran a time of 30:16.9 to finish fifth overall.
Matthys Bourse crossed the finish line in 11
th place (30:42.1) followed by Tommaso Toppi in 30

Fintan Kavanagh in 58

Adams State had a pair of student-athletes inside the Top-5 as the Grizzlies won the South Central Regional Championship with a total of 50 points. Colorado School of Mines finished second (62) followed by Western Colorado in third (75) as the Orediggers and Mountaineers claim an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships.

The Buffaloes averaged a time of 31:21 as they registered 148 total points to finish fifth on the team leaderboard.
