#17 WT Makes it Seven Straight, Leaves Commerce with a 71-60 Victory

COMMERCE, Texas – The #17 Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M made their final Lone Star Conference weekend road trip of the regular season a successful one as they came away with a pair of victories to run their win streak to seven games with a 71-60 win over the Texas A&M-Commerce Lions on Saturday afternoon in Commerce, Texas.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Lady Buffs were led offensively by Abby Spurgin who went 8-of-12 from the floor including 5-of-7 from the charity stripe with 21 points as 17 of those came in the first half, Deleyah Harris registered a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds while Nathalie Linden dished out six assists and registered two steals.
- Princess Davis finished the afternoon going 9-of-21 from the field including 1-of-6 from deep and 2-of-4 from the free throw line to lead the Lions with 21 points, Agong Tac grabbed six rebounds to lead the way defensively while Mykiel Burleson dished out three assists.
 
FIRST HALF
- The Lady Buffs finished the first half going 15-of-24 (62.5%) from the floor including 3-of-6 (50%) from deep and 5-of-8 (62.5%) from the charity stripe with 16 rebounds (five offensive, 11 defensive), 10 assists, 11 turnovers, one block and three steals.
- Texas A&M-Commerce went 15-of-28 (53.6%) from the field in the first half including 0-of-1 (0%) from behind the arc and 3-of-6 (50%) from the free throw line with nine rebounds (four offensive, five defensive), seven assists, six turnovers, two blocks and five steals. 

SECOND HALF
- WT finished the game going 26-of-52 (50%) from the floor including 5-of-9 (55.6%) from behind the arc and 14-of-22 (63.6%) from the free throw line with 44 rebounds (15 offensive, 29 defensive), 15 assists, 20 turnovers, eight blocks and six steals.
