DALLAS, Texas – Kenny Brown recorded his third game-winning goal of the season as the West Texas A&M Buffaloes battled back to walk away with a 2-1 victory over Dallas Baptist in overtime on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
DBU opened the match in the 33
rd minute as Jonathan Macias found Ethan Martinez at the front of the net to get on the board with a 1-0 lead. The Patriots defense was on display in the first half as the Buffs didn't record as single shot in the first 45 minutes.
WT went down a man in the 75
th minute when
Grayson Ellett was given his first red card of the season. With just 10 players on the field, the Buffs leveled the score as
Stefan Andjelic found the back of the net from the penalty spot in the 79
th minute.
Jorge Callejas nearly doubled the Buffs score but was saved by Tristan Olvera in front of the goal.
With under two minutes left in regulation,
Beau Johnson beat the defender to go for the shot at an empty net but hit the left post for the final attempt before heading into overtime for the second time this season.
After an even first overtime,
Kenny Brown grabbed the deciding goal in the 102
nd minute as the sophomore took advantage of the free kick from the left side after
Roberto Gonzalez was fouled 25 yards from the goal.
The Patriots outshot the Buffs 14-7 as sophomore goalkeeper
Colin Burgiel picked up his third victory of the season with five saves.
