HOW IT HAPPENED:
- West Texas A&M was led offensively by
Lexy Hightower and
Delaney Nix with 20 points each, Hightower connected six times from behind the arc for a new career-high while Nix registered a career high in points.
Deleyah Harris grabbed seven rebounds to go along with three steals while Nix and
Nathalie Linden dished out three assists each.
- Nyachristmas Puok led the way for the Falcons with seven points followed by Lemia Ntor-Ue and Khali Pippins-Tryon with six each, Juliette Akinwole grabbed five rebounds on the night while Alexandrea Washington led all players with four assists.

- The Lady Buffs went 13-of-30 (43.3%) from the floor including 9-of-21 (42.9%) from behind the arc and 5-of-8 (62.5%) from the free throw line to go along with 19 rebounds (seven offensive, 12 defensive), 12 assists, five turnovers, one block and five steals.
- UT Permian Basin finished the first half going 6-of-24 (25%) from the field including 1-of-7 (14.3%) from deep and 2-of-4 (50%) from the charity stripe with 18 rebounds (six offensive, 12 defensive), five assists, 12 turnovers, no blocks and four steals.
SECOND HALF:
- WT finished the game going 22-of-48 (45.8%) from the floor including 13-of-30 (43.3%) from behind the arc and 12-of-17 (70.6%) from the charity stripe with 37 rebounds (13 offensive, 24 defensive), 18 assists, 21 turnovers, two blocks and 14 steals in the win.
