CANYON, Texas – In a match that saw 27 ties and 14 lead changes, the Lions of Texas A&M-Commerce picked up a hard fought five set win in a thriller in front of over 1,000 fans at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" on Friday night in Lone Star Conference action against the West Texas A&M Lady Buffs.

- The Lady Buffs hit .140 as a team with 53 kills on 186 swings with 27 attack errors to go along with 51 assists, six service aces, 81 digs and 7.5 total blocks in the loss.
- Texas A&M-Commerce registered 65 kills on 184 attempts with 25 errors to hit .217 on the night with 64 assists, eight service aces, 90 digs and nine total blocks.
- WT freshman outside Erin Clark led the Lady Buffs offensively with 14 kills on 50 swings with four errors to hit .200 on the night followed by Crystal Thomas and Michaela Montgomery with 11 kills each. Selena Batiste led all players with 34 assists on the night to go along with 10 digs for a double-double while Chandler Vogel registered a team-high 24 digs.
