2017 (Freshman):
Petties registered a standout true freshman campaign for the Lady Buffs in 2017. She tallied 20 kills (0.67/set) on 55 attempts to go along with two assists, five digs and 19 total blocks (four solo, 15 assisted) to average 0.63 per frame. 

At St. Thomas Episcopal:
Petties came to Canyon from St. Thomas Episcopal School in Pearland, Texas where the 6’1 middle blocker was First Team All-State and First Team All-District as a senior as the Saints were the Texas 4A State Runner-Up. Petties was a three-time All-State selection in the middle and on the outside for the Saints. She also excelled in the classroom, being named to the St. Thomas Episcopal Honor Roll.
