Late Run Leads the Lady Buffs to a Homecoming Sweep of Texas Woman’s

CANYON, Texas – The Lady Buffs of West Texas A&M ended the afternoon on a 13-4 run as they swept past the Pioneers of Texas Woman's in Lone Star Conference action on Homecoming in front of over 400 fans at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon, Texas.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lady Buffs hit .274 as a team with 47 kills on 117 swings with 15 attack errors to go along with 45 assists, five service aces, 53 digs and 5.5 total blocks in the win.
- Texas Woman's registered 41 kills on 122 swings with 19 attack errors to hit .180 on the afternoon with 39 assists, two service aces, 52 digs and 5.0 total blocks.
- WT senior Crystal Thomas led the way offensively with 11 kills on 24 swings with just two errors to hit .375 on the afternoon followed by Kamille Jones and Erin Clark with nine kills each. Selena Batiste paced the WT offense with 35 assists while Clark and Chandler Vogel tallied 12 digs each.
