COACHES THOUGHTSWHAT IS THE MESSAGE TO THE TEAM HEADING INTO THE WEEK?"Win. The message has been to not fear the opponent but still respect them. I have learned over the years that the games that scare me aren't these types of games. We need to help manage the emotion of the kids and not let them get too high. We need to not let that emotion affect how we prepare for this match. We still have plenty to work on and it's our job to make sure that we are ready to play Midwestern."
WHAT ARE YOU EXPECTING FROM MIDWESTERN STATE?"They are playing a little bit different style of soccer than they have in the past. Since coach Elder has been there, they have played the same way but has changed it a little bit. I feel that has happened to fit the personnel that he has on team. I still expect them to come out in a 4-3-3. They are athletic upfront and I expect them to be fit and organized. But we aren't going to let that affect how we play our game. We are still going to press forward and get as many goals as we can."
