Kansas City, Mo. – West Texas A&M Women's Soccer was recognized for their academic success Friday afternoon by the United Soccer Coaches as they earned the Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 season. As a team, the Lady Buffs carried a 3.35 GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
The United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award is given to programs that hold a 3.0 GPA or higher.
 
"United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year."
