CANYON, TEXAS – West Texas A&M Men's Soccer has announced its 2026 season schedule. The Buffs 18-match schedule will feature nine games at The Pitch. WT will play two preseason games before opening their season at home against Adams State on August 27. Conference play begins for the Buffs on September 23 on the road against Texas A&M International.
 
Preseason play for the Buffs begins on August 18 with a home game against Wayland Baptist and then a road match against Southwest on August 21.
 
West Texas A&M kicks off their regular season with two games at The Pitch as they take on Adams State on August 27 and Fort Lewis on August 29. The Buffs then hit the road for the first time as they travel to Colorado to face Colorado Christian and Oklahoma to battle against Southern Nazarene.
 
Back home, the Buffs will play Fort Hays State on September 10 and Newman on September 12. WT wraps up their non-conference schedule with a trip to Oregon to take on Northwest Nazarene on September 17 and Saint Martin's on September 19.
 
September 23 marks the beginning of LSC play for the Buffs as they travel to Texas A&M International. The first LSC game at the pitch will follow on September 26 against UT Tyler.
 
Three of the next four games for West Texas A&M will be on the road as they travel to Oklahoma Christian on September 30. The Buffs will host UT Dallas on October 3 before traveling to Dallas Baptist on October 10. The road spurt will end on October 14 as WT takes on Lubbock Christian in a rematch of last year's LSC Quarterfinal match.
 
 The Buffs will return home on October 17 as they host the reigning LSC Regular Season and Tournament Champions in Midwestern State who also won the National Championship a season ago. WT will stay in Canyon for a game against Sul Ross State on October 21 before traveling to St. Mary's for their final regular season road game on October 24. October 28 against St. Edward's at The Pitch concludes the regular season for West Texas A&M.
 
The top six teams in the Lone Star Conference will reach the Conference Tournament with the top two seeds earning a bye. The LSC Tournament is as follows:
 
Quarterfinals (Hosted by higher seed): October 31
Semifinals (Hosted by higher seed): November 5
Championship (Hosted by highest remaining seed): November 7
 
West Texas A&M will also hold four theme days (with more to come) across their nine home games.
