- AVCA Division II Top-25 Poll

CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs begin the 2025 campaign ranked eighth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA)/Teraflex Division II Preseason Top-25 poll announced on Wednesday afternoon.
 
Reigning National Champion Lynn claimed 45 of the possible 47 first place votes to sit atop of the poll with 1,171 points. Angelo State claimed one first place vote with 1,014 points to sit second followed by St. Cloud State (1,005), San Francisco State (973), Ferris State (one first place, 907), MSU Denver (843), Central Oklahoma (810), West Texas A&M (765), Chaminade (756) and Tampa (747) to round out the top ten.
 
The South Central Region is represented by Angelo State (2^nd), MSU Denver (6^th), West Texas A&M (8^th), Colorado Mesa (23^rd), Dallas Baptist (RV) and UT Tyler (RV).
 
The Lady Buffs open the 2025 campaign on September 5-6 as they host the annual BritKare Lady Buff Classic at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.
