CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Buffaloes placed five runners inside the Top-10 on Saturday morning as they won their 13
th consecutive Lone Star Conference Men's Cross Country Championships at AP Ranch in Fort Worth, Texas.
Adrian Legarreta finished second overall with a time of 23:54.73 followed by
Matthys Bourse in 3
rd (24:37.18),
Tommasso Toppi in 4
th (24:58.64),
Branch Cox in 5
th (25:09.74) and Fintan Kavanaugh in 6
th (25:10.49).
Texas A&M International's Ian Rono won the LSC Individual Championship as the freshman from Eldoret, Kenya ran a time of 23:31.49.
Emil Meggle claimed a 27
th place finish with a time of 25:59.19) followed by
Adrian Solis in 40

Shane Ketchum in 43
rd (26:33.90),
Jordan Purcell in 64

West Texas A&M's 13
th straight crown saw the Buffs register 20 total points followed by Dallas Baptist (77), UT Tyler (93), Oklahoma Christian (134) and Cameron (169) to round out the top five. WT's current run of titles is the second longest stream in league history behind Abilene Christian (20, 1991-2010).
