CANYON. Texas – The Lady Buffs picked up their first Lone Star Conference victory of the season on Thursday night as they outscored the Cameron Aggies by 19 points in the third quarter on their way to a 79-58 win at the First United Bank Center in Canyon.
 
Taytum Bell led the way offensively for the Lady Buffs as the freshman from Amarillo went 6-of-9 from the floor including a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line for a career-high 18 points to go along with eight boards, one assist and three steals.

Claire Graham (10) finished in double-figures while reigning LSC Defensive Player of the Week 
Taylor Haggan grabbed 11 boards in the win.
 
The Lady Buffs went 25-of-65 (38.5%) from the field including 8-of-18 (44.4%) from behind the arc and 21-of-27 (77.8%) from the stripe with 51 total rebounds (13 offensive, 38 defensive), 14 assists, 16 turnovers, two blocks and nine steals.
 
Kloe Heidebrecht and Grace Alverson led the way offensively for the Aggies as they both finished the game with 11 points and four rebounds each. Cameron finished the night going 20-of-62 (31.3%) from the floor including 7-of-29 (24.1%) from deep and 11-of-14 (78.6%) from the free throw line to go along with 35 rebounds, 11 assists, 17 turnovers, one block and six steals.
 
The Lady Buffs close out the weekend on Saturday afternoon as they welcome the Lady Eagles of Oklahoma Christian to the First United Bank Center with tipoff set for 1:00 p.m. in Canyon.
