CANYON. Texas – West Texas A&M Athletics has announced a new partnership with Athlete's Thread, a leader in custom NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) merchandise, to launch a unique line of co-branded products.
 
"This partnership with Athlete's Thread is another step for us in providing NIL opportunities to our student-athletes. This is a priority area for WT Athletics and we look to grow in this space over the next year" said Vice President of Athletics Doug Lipinski.
 
Through this new collaboration, fans can now purchase apparel of their favorite West Texas A&M student athletes, further promoting both the student athlete and the WT athletic programs.  Athlete's Thread works with more than 150 colleges and universities, providing over 18,000 athletes with high-quality merchandise and jerseys to leverage their own NIL rights and create their own brand.
 
As an approved licensee with WT Athletics, Athlete's Thread will contract directly with interested WT student-athletes to design and create NIL licensed product as well as launch personalized online stores. Among the items offered for purchase include: replica jerseys, sweatshirts, shirseys and caricature designs with youth and adult sizing options. New gear featuring West Texas A&M student-athlete names, numbers and likeness will be added continuously as they opt to sign with Athlete's Thread.
