CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M Athletics has finished 2025 with continued success on the field, court and in the classroom with a 3.123 cumulative grade point average for the fall semester.
 
12 different programs surpassed the 3.0 grade point average plateau with four programs reaching atleast a 3.5 GPA. Lady Buff Golf led the way with a 3.838 team GPA followed by men's golf (3.636), volleyball (3.624) and women's track and field (3.563).
 
The Maroon & White claimed Lone Star Conference Championships men's cross country and women's cross country while continuing the national notoriety of the entire athletics program. The fall standings for the Learfield Director's Cup will be announced on Tuesday afternoon.
