PRELIMINARIES
Nineteen athletes prequalified for four events. The Lady Buffs have nine athletes, while the Buffs have ten. The distance squad will be locked down by Raquel Chavez and Butare Rugenerwa in the 800 meter. Heptathlete, Elliot Harrison, will be competing in the 400 meter hurdles and Kenyon Mosley will represent the Buffs in the same event.

The Lady Buffs prequalified all five of their 100-meter athletes, a feat that is hard to do for any team. Nationally ranked leader DeOndra Green along with nationally ranked teammates Leah Belfield, Alana Wilson and Jordanae' Scott will go head-to-head in the event. Those four athletes also run the 4x100 together and are ranked No. 1 in the nation with a time of 44:34. Junior, Gabriella Holmstrom, made the cut in the very competitive 100-meter prelims with a time of 11.94.

The men's 100-meter finals will consist of five athletes from WT out of the allotted 8 spots in the finals. The national 100-meter leader and freshman, Isaac Botsio, came in second behind teammate, Joseph Manu, in the prelims. Both competed at the Texas Relays together where they hit provisional marks earlier this season. 200-meter standout athlete Jeremiah Lauzon also made the cut along with freshman, Jerry Jakpa, and junior, Desmond Aryee.
