- NCBWA Top-25 Poll
CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M ranks third in this week's edition of the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) Division II Top-25 Poll announced on Wednesday morning.

Nova Southeastern took over the top spot as they claimed 10 o the possible 19 first place votes for a total of 465 points followed by Wingate (seven first place, 449), West Texas A&M (422), Point Loma (two first place, 415), Tampa (399), Southern Arkansas (385), Trevecca Nazarene (349), Columbus State (340), Colorado Mesa (324) and Seton Hill (295) to round out the top ten.

The South Central Region was represented by WT (3
rd), Colorado Mesa (9
th), Angelo State (17
th), MSU Denver (24
th) and Texas A&M-Kingsville (RV).

The Buffs continue Lone Star Conference action this weekend as they head to Fort Smith, Arkansas for a four-game series beginning on Saturday afternoon with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at Crowder Field.
