Taylor Nelloms earned Lone Star Conference Indoor Track & Field weekly honors announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon. Nelloms earns the accolades for the second time in her career and first this season.
The reigning triple jump National Champion picked up weekly honors after recording the highest Division II finish at the Texas Tech Corky Classic. The Humble, Texas product finished fourth overall behind three jumpers from TTU with 42-0.75 (12.82m) jump in her season debut.
Nelloms and the WT Track & Field programs return to action this weekend at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational, Jan. 22, in Albuquerque, N.M.
