CANYON, Texas – Former West Texas A&M right-hander
Jake Suddreth will continue his baseball career in the Windy City, signing a minor league agreement with the Chicago White Sox earlier this week.

The Queen Creek, Arizona native made 12 appearances on the mound for the Buffs during the 2021 campaign with one start, he tossed 16,2 total innings while registering 26 strikeouts to average 1.56 K's per inning as WT claimed the LSC Regular Season Championship and made a run to the program's first ever Regional Finals. Suddreth has spent the offseason with the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders of the Northwoods League.

The White Sox currently lead the American League Central by 9.5 games as they have gone 78-57 so far this season including a 46-24 mark on the South Side of Chicago.
