Lady Buff Basketball Announces Their 2021-22 Schedule

CANYON, Texas – 
Lady Buff Basketball and first year head coach Josh Prock have announced WT's 2021-22 schedule which features 17 home contests inside of the First United Bank Center highlighted by the D2CCA Tipoff Classic to open the campaign.
 
WT kicks off the season on October 29-31 as they host the prestigious D2CCA Tipoff Classic with matchups against Central Missouri, Drury and Southwestern Oklahoma State followed by a trip to Waco, Texas on November 3rd for an exhibition contest with the Baylor Lady Bears inside of the Ferrell Center.
 
The Lady Buffs return to Canyon for the South Central Regional Challenge on November 12-13 with games against South Dakota Mines and Colorado Mesa before hitting the road for the Northwest Nazarene Classic (Nov. 19-20) in Nampa, Idaho as they take on Central Washington and the host Nighthawks.
 
Fort Lewis, Western Colorado and Southwestern Oklahoma State come to Canyon for the Pak-A-Sak Thanksgiving Classic on November 26-27 before in-region non-conference contests at Eastern New Mexico (Dec. 2), at home against Western New Mexico (Dec. 4) and at defending National Champion Lubbock Christian (Dec. 7).
 
WT heads to Las Vegas, Nevada on December 17-18 to take part in the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic with matchups against Montana State Billings and Southern Indiana at the South Point Hotel and Casino. Lone Star Conference action begins on Friday, December 31st at Arkansas-Fort Smith followed by a January 2nd matchup at Oklahoma Christian.
 
Texas A&M-Commerce (Jan. 6) and UT Tyler (Jan. 8) come to Canyon for LSC action followed by a Hill Country road trip to St. Edward's (Jan. 13) and St. Mary's (Jan. 15). Angelo State (Jan. 20) and UT Permian Basin (Jan. 22) come to the FUBC followed by trips to Midwestern State (Jan. 27) and Texas Woman's (Jan. 29).
 
The Lady Buffs wrap-up their non-conference schedule in Lawton, Oklahoma against Cameron on February 3rd before a three-game homestand against Lubbock Christian (Feb. 10), Eastern New Mexico (Feb. 12) and the Aggies (Feb. 15). WT hits the road for the final time on February 19th at Western New Mexico before closing out the regular season at home against Texas A&M-Kingsville (Feb. 24) and Texas A&M International (Feb. 26).
 
The Lone Star Conference Championship will take place on March 3-6 at a site to be determined followed by the NCAA South Central Regional Championships (Mar. 11-14) and the NCAA Division II Elite Eight at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama on March 22-25.
