Miriam Zanovello's win in the triple jump highlighted a strong second day at the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi held at the Mountain Lion Fieldhouse hosted by UC-Colorado Springs on Friday.

The men's heptathlon saw
Gerard Bryant finish third with a total of 4,906 points followed by
Traise Cain in sixth (4,343). Bryant won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.42 followed by a sixth place finish in the pole vault (3.60m) and a time of 3:10.11 in the 1,000 run to finish fifth. Cane finished second in the 60m hurdles (8.56) and third in the pole vault (4.20m) before closing out the meet seventh in the 1,000m run (3:17.92).

Miriam Zanovello finished off a strong weekend with a win in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.53m in her third attempt of the afternoon.
Rebecca Schlenker finished sixth (11.00m) in the event followed by
Alexis McGill (10.90m) in seventh.

The Buffs and Lady Buffs return to action on January 14-15 as they make their way down I-27 to compete in The Corky Classic at the Sports Performance Center on the campus of Texas Tech.
