The Aggies tied the game in the top of the fifth inning as a sac fly and an RBI single off of the left field wall made it 2-2, Hardin struck again in the bottom of the fifth inning as the Flower Mound product became the new Lone Star Conference career RBI leader (245) with a two-run bomb to left center to give the Lady Buffs a 4-2 lead. WT wasn't done yet as Suka Van Gurp doubled to the left center field gap to drive in Kourtney Coveney followed by a two-run single to shallow center field by Shanna McBroom to make it 7-2.

Cameron responded in the top of the sixth inning as they plated four runs on four hits to cut the lead to 7-6, WT added to their lead in the bottom of the frame as Moore singled to left field with two outs to drive in a pair and run the lead to 9-6.

HOW IT HAPPENENED (GAME 2):
The Lady Buffs got on the board first in the bottom of the first inning as Van Gurp lifted a sac fly to center field with one out to score Hardin from third base for the early 1-0 lead. Hardin continued her big afternoon at the plate as the senior crushed a two-run homerun to left center in the home half of the fourth inning to extend their lead to 3-0.

The Aggies got on the board in the top of the sixth inning as they scored on a delayed steal with two outs as Brenna Busby crossed the plate before the last out of the inning to cut the lead to 3-1, that's all the lead that Kilee Halbert would need as the senior right hander registered her 53rd career complete game to move to 17-5 in the circle as she allowed one run on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts.
