At Sahuaro High School:
Ward registered a standout prep career at Sahuaro High School in Tucson, Arizona where she played in the outfield for the Cougars under head coach Jeff Fowler. She led SHS to a State Runner-Up finish during her senior campaign while picking up Second Team All-Region Honors.

Personal:
Born September 8th, Daughter of Richard and Michelle Ward and she has two sisters, Hannah and Annie. Ward is undecided on a major at West Texas A&M.
