CANYON, Texas – The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs used an 11 kill performance by sophomore Taylor Kress while registering seven blocks and hitting .333 as a team in a sweep of the visiting ThunderWolves of Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday night during the BritKare Lady Buff Classic at the WTAMU Fieldhouse "The Box" in Canyon.

- The Lady Buffs hit .333 as a team with 37 kills on 81 swings with 10 attack errors to go along with 36 assists, 10 service aces, 38 digs and seven total blocks.
- Colorado State-Pueblo registered a .131 hitting percentage as a team in the match with 35 kills on 99 swings with 22 attack errors to go along with 35 assists, four service aces, 27 digs and three total blocks as a team.
- Sophomore Taylor Kress led the Lady Buffs with 11 kills on 22 swings with just two attack errors to hit .409 on the night followed by Erin Clark with nine kills and Lindsey Smith with eight, Selena Batiste led all players with 34 assists while Batiste, Michaela Montgomery and Chandler Vogel tallied eight digs each.
